The 27-year-old becomes the London side s 15th addition of the transfer window with Cameron Jerome, Barry Bannan and Adrian Mariappa all joining the ranks on deadline day.
The move marks a return to the top flight for the Algeria international, who got a taste of the Premier League while playing for Wolves from 2010 to 2012, shortly before they were relegated to the Championship.
He now has another opportunity to prove himself after impressing for Forest last season, netting three goals in 35 league appearances.
His addition marks the latest signing in a busy window for manager Ian Holloway, with the 50-year-old admitting prior to the deadline that he needed…
Cristiano Ronaldo said Thursday he is confident that Real Madrid will beat arch-rivals Barcelona this weekend even though his side is not currently a great team .
We are good but we are not great, he told a press conference ahead of Saturday s El Classico at home against Barcelona, the reigning European and Spanish champions.
We know how well they play and how difficult they are to beat, but we also have our artillery. We have a good chance of winning as long as we stay focused. I am sure we will play well, the Portuguese winger added.
That said, I wouldn t mind losing on Saturday as long as we win the league. What difference is there if we beat Barcelona and then lose the next two matches? .
Real are on top of the standings on goal difference from Ba…
Lyon youngster Lucas Tousart is in line to be rewarded with a new and improved contract at Parc OL, .
The 19-year-old joined les Gones from Valenciennes in the summer of 2015, and he spent his first season at the club representing the reserve side, making just one Ligue 1 appearance.
However, Tousart has since persuaded head coach Bruno Genesio to give him a chance and is already on the verge of nailing down a regular starting berth.
And with top European clubs casting admiring glances his way, Lyon are determined to ward off interest in the midfielder’s services by offering him a new contract.
Tousart has a deal until June 2019 at Parc OL, and he will not only see his current contract extended for another two or three years, but also receive a ma…
Let s start with a caveat. You should never, ever as a spectator throw anything from the stands onto the pitch. As the saying goes, it is neither big, nor clever.
Having said that, there have been instances of objects being directed towards the field of play that are undoubtedly humorous merely for the creativity and downright bizarre nature of what has been thrown.
There have been many explanations for smuggling in foreign objects to launch from the stands, ranging from insults towards former players, through to fan protests and some reasons that we barely want to even imagine why.
Here, we take a look at some of the most notorious examples.
A PIG S HEAD
Arguably the most famous instance of such an occurrence came in 2002 when Barcelona supporter…

According to reports that emerged on Thursday, Bayern have already been in contact with Rudiger s agent about an end-of-season switch to the Allianz Arena.
But Nagelsmann was unwilling to discuss his side s supposed interest in Rudiger any further during …

But the Fluminense manager maintained that he still needs to speak with the club officials before deciding on his future.

Carlo Ancelotti believes that Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic can continue to operate at the top level of football despite his age.
The Swede celebrated his 34th birthday on October 3 and his contract at the Parc des Princes is due to expire at the end of season.
But Italian coach Ancelotti, who led Ibrahimovic and PSG to the Ligue 1 title in 2012-13, feels he still has plenty to offer.
For many attackers it is an age when you are finished, but not for Ibra, Ancelotti said in an interview with Le Parisien.
He can still play at this level for a few years because he has maintained his enthusiasm.
And as he trains very seriously and he still wants to win with PSG, he is not on the decline.
The former Real Madrid boss …
Rubin Kazan have announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of Croatian forward Marko Livaja from Atalanta.

Seeing as how the forward had just over a year left on his deal with Atalanta, it is believed he was signed on a cut-price deal.
Rubin officials clearly decided to take the gamble with the player who has shown a great deal of potential, but also caused a fair share of problems during his time at Cesena, Inter Milan and Atalanta.
